Robbie Radis( Neilpryde/Kinetic) show's good board speed on the Gladiator 115 to take out every heat in the end of season Safety Bay event fun event.

The safety Bay end of season fun event is an event for all level's of sailor's to get out there and have some fun and the conditions were perfect to do so with wind's ranging 12 to 18 knot's. Three down wind slalom course events where run with full fleet beach start's off a sand bar 150m of the shore.

Robbie Radis (Neilpryde/Kinetic) dominated all three round's from start to finish on the Gladiator 115 showing great speed for a freeride board. Bob Ward (Neilpryde/Kinetic) was also showing good form taking out a couple of second place's on the Gladiator 115. Neils Rusmussun (Neilpryde/Starboard) was also flying with a second and a couple of third's.

The last race of the day was the Marathon across the bay but this was not a normal marathon, it was a handicap marathon. The way it works is all sailor's start together and take off across the bay and the sailor that is first when he jibe's at the other side of the bay to come back the whole fleet jibe's at the same time so the first sailor's becomes last and the last place sailor becomes first for the run back.It was Radis (Neilpryde/Kinetic) who took the lead closely followed by Bob Ward (Nielpryde/Kinetic) with Tom Radis (Neilpryde/Kinetic) in third. Radis was the first to the other side but then had a job on his hand's as his is now back is last spot. Increablely Radis managed to pass the entire fleet on the way back to still take the win closely followed by Kio (Arrow's Kinetic).

This was the end for racing for the day and then the sailor's enjoyed a barbeque on the beach to finish off a great day enjoyed by all.

After taking 7 months off, Robbie Radis has returned straight to top form taking out the Neil Pryde Cervantes Speed Trial event on the new Gladiator 90 freeride board.

Day one of the Neilpryde Cervantes Speed Trial saw the wind only reach 10 to 12 knot's so the event was put on hold where it was looking good for day two. Day two arrived with 12 to 15 knots and Steve Strathfold (Neilpryde/custom) set the early pace with a 56km run closely followed by Claude Lequoc (Arrow's/Kinetic) 55km.Robbie Radis (Neilpryde/Kinetic) who took to the water keen to try out the new Kinetic Gladiator 90 freeride board. First run Radis took the top spot with a 57km run then followed up with a 58km run before coming back to the beach.

Into the afternoon saw the wind pick up to 18 knots where Strathfold took back the lead with a 59km run but then it was the Veteran Neils Rusmussen (Nielpryde/Starboard) who put down the run of the day with a 60km run. After watching these runs before him Radis took to the water and got back the lead with a 62km run. The wind took a dive dropping down to 15km and the event was declared over at 4.00pm.
So it was Robbie Radis with his  62km run to take out the event for the second year in a row, with Neils Rasmussen taking second.
